The Danube passes through Bratislava. The Slovak name for the river is Dunaj.
Five bridges cross the Danube in Bratislava: Lafranconi Bridge (Most Lafranconi), New Bridge (Novy most), Old Bridge (Stary most), Apollo Bridge (Most Apollo), Port Bridge (Pristavny most).
There is a passenger ship port, as well as a cargo port.
