Walk-in emergency for adults is provided by the Policlinic Ruzinov on Ruzinovska Street 10 (trams No. 8, 9, 14 and buses No. 50, 75, 511) from 7 pm to 7 am, Policlinic Strecnianska on Strecnianska Street 13 (buses No. 92, 95, 506) from7 pm to 7 am. Emergency for children and youth is provided by Children University Teaching Hospital and Policlinic Kramare on Limbova Street 1 (bus No. 22, 32, 49, 518 and trolleybus No. 204, 212) from 7 pm to 7 am. Dental emergency is provided at Policlinic Drienova on Drienova Street 38 (tram No. 8, 9, 14 and bus No. 50, 78, 85, 86) from 6 pm to 7 am.

University Teaching Hospital with Policlinic Bratislavaconsists of four hospitals located in four different parts of Bratislava. University Teaching Hospital and Policlinic Ruzinov consists of variety of specialized clinics e.g. neurological, psychiatric, surgical, orthopedic, othorinolaryngologic, gyneacological-maternal, plastic surgery and departments of pneumology, children pneumology, urology etc. It is located on Ruzinovska Street 6 and accessible by trams No. 8, 9, 14 and buses No. 50 and 75.

National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases is one of the most modern and well equipped medical facilities in Slovakia. It is divided into several clinics and departments including cardiology, cardiosurgery, vascular surgery and transplantation. It is located in Bratislava-Kramare on Pod Krasnou horkou 1 (trolleybus No. 206).
